Cost £139 inc VAT
Non-refundable deposit of 50% payable on booking. Payment in full if booked 7 days or less before the course date. Balance payment will be taken from your credit/debit card on the last working day (working days are Mon-Fri) before your course date. Please see T&C's.
Overview
Our intimate waxing course is designed for a skilled waxing technician wanting to master fashionable Hollywood and Brazilian waxing techniques.
You will be taught in the use of hot wax, minimising pain and discomfort for your clients.
If this is not on your treatment menu, it certainly should be as over 90% of bikini waxes performed in salons are Brazilians and Hollywoods, with standard bikinis being rarely requested.
What you will learn
This is a one day tutor led course covering the following
- Hygiene, health & safety
- Related anatomy and physiology
- Contra-indications to treatment
- Consultation techniques and contra-action advice
- Waxing product knowledge
- Preparation for treatment
- Application to complete a Brazilian and Hollywood treatment
- Wax Removal
- Aftercare advice
You must be prepared to give and receive a wax. Hair growth should be at least 2 weeks.

On the day
We like to look after all our students whilst they’re training with us, that’s why we offer free parking, always have a stocked biscuit tin, sweets, posh coffee, tea and chilled water available all day, at every course. There’s also a lovely deli near to the academy for lunches, or if your prefer you can bring your own food.
Support
There is nothing worse than leaving a course and feeling left on your own. We like to ensure our students have all the support and back up they need which includes full telephone and e mail support. You may even re-sit another course of the same if necessary within 6 months free of charge.
You also get
Once you have completed your course you will receive a fully IPHM accredited certificate allowing you to get your public liability insurance.
Previous Knowledge
Must hold Body waxing certificate level 2 equivalent and have previous waxing experience in the bikini area.
