Course Level
Beginner - no previous experience necessary
Covers all foundation aspects of gel nail application. The course will give you the confidence to apply tips and gel overlays.
Cost - £295 inc VAT
Non-refundable deposit of 50% payable on booking. Payment in full if booked 7 days or less before the course date. Balance payment will be taken from your credit/debit card on the last working day (working days are Mon-Fri) before your course date. Please see T&C's.
Overview
Gel nails are the most advanced nail enhancement system available today. Gel is flexible and strong and is ideal for those who wish to wear enhancements long term. Gel is odourless and does not yellow.
We prefer the Genesis 3 phase Gel system for our courses. This can be sculpted for shape and strength.
The gel course will give you all the basics to set you on your way with your new skill.

On the day
We like to look after all our students whilst they’re training with us, that’s why we offer free parking, always have a stocked biscuit tin, sweets, posh coffee, tea and chilled water available all day, at every course. There’s also a lovely deli near to the academy for lunches, or if your prefer you can bring your own food.
Support
There is nothing worse than leaving a course and feeling left on your own. We like to ensure our students have all the support and back up they need which includes full telephone and e mail support. You may also drop in at one of our workshop afternoon/evenings or even re-sit another course of the same if necessary within 6 months free of charge.

Once you have completed your course you will receive a fully IPHM accredited certificate allowing you to get your public liability insurance.
Previous Knowledge
There is no previous experience needed to attend this course. However you will need to study the anatomy and physiology manual (unit 1) and sit a short multiple choice test if you do not have any previous A&P qualifications.
Assessment
Between your 2 day course and your assessment you will need to complete 5 case studies. This is a mandatory requirement in order that we can be sure you are able to perform the skills you have learnt out in the real world! And on a number of different nail shapes and types.
We require this to be completed within 3 months of your initial training, but remember you are not on your own. You will have 6 days a week, 10 hours a day access to our e mail and telephone help lines and you can drop in to any of our Basic Gel Courses or workshops free of charge.
