2 Days - 10.00am to 4.30pm, post course 2-3 hour assessment must be completed within 12 weeks. Please see T&Cs.

Course Level
Beginner - no previous experience necessary
Covers all basic aspects of acrylic nail application. The course will give you the confidence to apply tips for extensions including natural nail overlays and gel polish finish.
Cost - £295 inc VAT

Overview
The technology for nail enhancement systems is advancing constantly to enable nail technicians to create stronger, less damaging and lighter nails giving a natural, comfortable wearing experience for your clients.
We prefer the Genesis Acrylic System for our courses, This course will give you all the basics to set yourself up with your new skill and be able to offer your clients the best option for their needs.

On the day
We like to look after all our students whilst they’re training with us, that’s why we offer free parking, always have a stocked biscuit tin, sweets, posh coffee, tea and chilled water available all day, at every course. There’s also a lovely deli near to the academy for lunches, or if your prefer you can bring your own food.
Support
There is nothing worse than leaving a course and feeling left on your own. We like to ensure our students have all the support and back up they need which includes full telephone and e mail support. You may also drop in at one of our workshop afternoon/evenings or even re-sit another course of the same if necessary within 6 months free of charge.
You also get
Once you have completed your course you will receive a fully IPHM accredited certificate allowing you to get your public liability insurance.
Previous Knowledge
There is no previous experience needed to attend this course. However you will need to study the anatomy and physiology manual (unit 1) and sit a short multiple choice test if you do not have any previous A&P qualifications.
Assessment
Between your 2 day course and your assessment you will need to complete 5 case studies. This is a mandatory requirement in order that we can be sure you are able to perform the skills you have learnt out in the real world! And on a number of different nail shapes and types.
We require this to be completed within 3 months of your initial training, but remember you are not on your own. You will have 6 days a week, 10 hours a day access to our e mail and telephone help lines and you can drop in to any of our Foundation Acrylic Courses or workshops free of charge.
