Overview
An essential skill for any therapist – eyebrow and eyelash treatments are one of the most popular treatments in salons and for mobile therapists to provide.
As a therapist you could add this valued skill to your portfolio of treatments which will help you to expand your business and your earnings.
Following this course you will be able enhance the appearance of your client quickly and effectively, adding depth and definition to their eyes and face. It has been said that eyebrows shape the face, and as a brow technician, you will be able to accentuate the face and its features. This treatment can be effective for those clients who have blonde or ginger brow and eyelash and by using the correct tint, the therapist can create a dramatic look!
This course requires students to work on each other in order to experience the treatment. This also negates the need for a model. If you feel you are unable to participate in this way due to medical conditions or have concerns please contact us at least 10 days before your course
Covers all of the following:
- Eyebrow tinting
- Eyebrow waxing
- Eyebrow tweezing
- Eyelash Tinting
Also health and safety, Anatomy and Physiology, client care and care of equipment.
What you will learn:
This is a half day tutor led course covering the following
- Health, safety & hygiene
- Consultation techniques
- Contra-indications
- Aftercare
- Assessing clients eyes for correct brow shaping
- Choice of tint colour to suit client
- Use of warm wax and tweezers for shaping eyebrows
- Procedure for tinting eyebrows and lashes

On the day
We like to look after all our students whilst they’re training with us, that’s why we offer free parking, always have a stocked biscuit tin, sweets, posh coffee, tea and chilled water available all day, at every course. There’s also a lovely deli near to the academy for lunches, or if your prefer you can bring your own food.
Support
There is nothing worse than leaving a course and feeling left on your own. We like to ensure our students have all the support and back up they need which includes full telephone and e mail support. You may even re-sit another course of the same if necessary within 6 months free of charge.

Once you have completed your course you will receive a fully IPHM accredited certificate allowing you to get your public liability insurance.
Previous Knowledge
There is no previous experience needed to attend this course. However you will need to study some anatomy and physiology.
